Neon Dream

The brand new Rossorame collection Neon Dreams takes its concept from the Grunge era of the early 1990s. Grunge first hit the sub-culture scene of the mid/late 1980s, and exploded on all fashion scenes in the early 1990s, spearheaded by the popularity of musicians and bands of the time, namely Nirvana, and Pearl Jam.

The Autumn/Winter 2019-2020 capsule collection Neon Dreams from Rossorame, represents a fresh and grown up parallel universe. A culture clash where the luxurious lifestyles and parties as encapsulated by cocktail dresses, mini-skirts and opulent bomber jackets meets a gritty and grunge street style.

Black and white underpin the Neon Dreams collection in traditional and strong patterns; tweed, herringbone and tartan. Cotton and pure new wool fabrics create soft and tactile pieces which compete against the strong silhouettes of the garments for an edgy look. The Rossorame signature piping adds flashes of the only colours running through the collection. Fluorescent yellow, bright orange and a violet purple hark back to 80’s neon colours, especially in the textured bombers. Denim takes a distinctive turn towards grunge with androgynous shapes and visible contrast stitching.
